ABOUT
Charles is a seasoned musician, producer, and accomplished guitarist based in middle Georgia. After years in Nashville as a session guitarist, touring musician, music instructor, and producer, he now focuses primarily on production and session leadership. Charles serves as a producer and session leader at the historic Capricorn Studios in Macon, Georgia, and also utilizes West End Sounds and many other southeastern studios to accomplish his artists’ goals. He oversees sessions, develops arrangements, guides artists through tracking and performance, and shapes records from pre‑production to final mix. His hands‑on experience as a player and teacher informs a collaborative, musician‑first approach—blending technical expertise with creative direction to bring projects to their fullest potential.
Honey Badger Studio In addition to his work at Capricorn and other regional studios, Charles operates his personal Honey Badger Studio. Honey Badger Studio offers a comfortable, focused environment for pre‑production, overdubs, tracking, editing, and remote collaboration. The studio supports singer‑songwriters, bands, and session work with an emphasis on clear communication, efficient workflow, and musical sensitivity. Charles brings the same musician‑first production philosophy to Honey Badger Studio, providing hands‑on guidance, arrangement input, and session leadership tailored to each project.
